As a child grows, they can develop muscular or joint pain. This is common around the knee, heel and low back in particular.

It may also be exacerbated if they are very involved in sport. We will teach you how to manage these symptoms and through manual therapy and appropriate stretches we can alleviate pain. Other common sources of worry to parents may be a child’s gait pattern, for example if a child is walking with the foot turned in.

Specific exercises can be very useful in cases like this to improve gait pattern. Poor balance or clumsiness is common also, particularly with a dyspraxic child. Exercises to work on balance and strengthening will really benefit such cases.
